Date: July 3, 2005
Chase Partner: Andy Hamm
Locations: Caldwell and South Haven, Kansas
Description: This post-tornadic cell came out of Wichita and produced 100 mph straight-line winds (we changed position once cell got too close to us). Amazing storm structure observed from the south side of the storm. Beautiful contrast and gorgeous shelf clouds were witnessed from this storm. It also produced an unconfirmed mini microburst as it crossed into Oklahoma.
Best part: Beautiful storm structure was the best witnessed to date!
